UIU’s Online Program offers asynchronous courses so that you can attend class anytime during the day or night. You will actively and substantively participate in discussions on course topics that enhance your learning. The Online Program offers six eight-week terms each year so that you never need to wait more than two months to start classes.

Our convenient Web-based academic programs allow you to tailor your own curriculum and plan class and study time to fit your unique schedule. You will have opportunities to study and test your knowledge through online quizzes, interactive classrooms, seminars, and Web field trips.

Bachelor’s degree in business from a college or university accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency. Master of Science in Education degree candidates are expected, but not required, to hold a valid state teaching license. The Master of Science in Education does not lead to initial teacher certification.

Two practicum experiences are completed in the area in which you reside.

Applicants are required to have a bachelors degree from a regionally-accredited institution and a 3.0 GPA on all undergraduate coursework. GRE test scores are not required.

The program is taught in groups of 20 to 25 students over a 24-month period. All degree work is completed online, with no residency requirements or classroom attendance.

A four-year bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States. A minimum GPA of 3.0.

Two letters of recommendation. A resume and an essay of approximately 500 words.
